PEACE SDGS AWARDS

The Peace SDGs Awards (also known as Peace Sustainable Development Goals Awards) is an initiative by the International Peace Diplomacy Corps, Inc. to spread the promotions of inclusive and sustainable peace development across the world echoing some of the key themes of the United Nations Sustainable Development Goals. The Peace SDGs Awards captures individuals and organizations who adopts sustainability and incredible development accelerating best practices.  

The Peace SDGs Awards is a platform for individuals and organizations from the private and civil society sectors across the world recognizing their noble missions and works for humanity. The Peace SDGs Awards celebrates the highest social responsibility, accountability, human development, and great servant leadership for peoples. Inspired from the Resolution 70/1 of the United Nations General Assembly: "Transforming our World: the 2030 Agenda for Sustainable Development" or simply the 2030 Agenda. Localizing the UN Sustainable Development Goals, the International Peace Diplomacy Corps, Inc. activates the awareness campaign promotions through Peace SDGs Awards.  

 The Peace SDGs Awards honors individuals and organizations who have captured the essence of integrating sustainable and development measures in their respective professions or companies. The Peace SDGs Awards aspires to raise the cause of the United Nations Sustainable Development Goals, Agenda 2030. The Peace SDGs Awards empowers communities by the individuals and organizations through their contemporary mission for the higher advantage of the peoples. The Peace SDGs Awards salutes the individuals and organizations from the private and civil society sectors who demonstrates the embodiment of noble aspirations of the International Peace Diplomacy Corps, Inc. anchored on the purposes of the United Nations. 

The search committee of the Peace SDGs Awards 2024 will be composed mostly by the members of the diplomatic community accredited to the Republic of the Philippines. Their names will be revealed during the awarding ceremony. They will also award the honorees during the actual ceremony. 

The search committee will evaluate the nominees based on the documentation submitted to the IPDCI secretariat after the validation. Names will be removed to uphold credence and honor to the award itself. Peace SDGs Awards maintains the highest integrity and credibility as nominees will be judged based on the documented evidences and knowledge-management presented. Nominees may apply to more than one category, or any combinations from the individual and organization categories. Deadline of nomination and submission of documents is on October 15, 2024.
